Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and accruals
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Lead tax preparation processes and maintain accurate financial records
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
