Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts nightly
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions during off-peak hours
- Generate and analyze monthly financial reports for leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Implement process improvements for night shift efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
