Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with tax specialists to support compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Develop financial forecasts and variance analysis for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
