Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for strategic planning
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Remote work experience a plus
