Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Lead financial audits and collaborate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk
- Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
- Train junior staff on accounting procedures and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
