Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closings, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for departmental and organizational initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and implement process improvements
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic financial decision-making
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and coordinate with external auditors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables/VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, reconciliation, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
