Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the annual external audit process by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Develop and maintain the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis models.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including accurate tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
- Provide insightful financial reporting to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
