Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and optimize cash flow operations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with adherence to GAAP standards
- Lead tax preparation processes for corporate clients and ensure regulatory compliance
- Implement and improve accounting systems for enhanced efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to strengthen financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public/private sector exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel with advanced functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proven experience managing month-end close processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and client relations
