Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) for diverse client portfolios
- Lead tax planning, compliance, and audit coordination for S-Corporations and LLCs
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Conduct forensic accounting investigations and fraud prevention assessments
- Advise clients on cash flow optimization, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining direct client relationships
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and QuickBooks Online for financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS tax codes, and Oregon state regulations
- Proven ability to manage multi-state compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client presentations and financial explanations
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) a plus
