Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to GAAP standards
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and ensure timely payment processing
- Conduct detailed reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and tax preparations
- Maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite and QuickBooks Enterprise systems
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication abilities for presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
