Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 20+ SMB clients including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations
- Maintain accurate QuickBooks and Sage 300 databases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of tax preparation and compliance procedures
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with precision
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active Nevada CPA license required
