Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 50+ employees
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets
- Collaborate with auditors during annual external reviews and tax preparations
- Create financial forecasts and variance analysis reports for leadership
- Implement process improvements using NetSuite and QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in full-cycle accounting and month-end/close procedures
- Advanced proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
