Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting
- Coach junior accounting staff on best practices
- Streamline accounting processes using automation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
