Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and expense tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in budget forecasting and strategic financial planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
- Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
