Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and detect financial discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting processes and enhance financial forecasting models.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
