Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements, including Balance Sheets, P&Ls, and Cash Flow statements, in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations for multiple accounts and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the treasury team to manage cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity analysis.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and supporting schedules.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations and internal controls.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
