Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and federal/state regulations
- Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements
- Provide financial insights to senior management for decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with multi-location accounting systems
