- Lead month-end closing processes and reconciliation activities
- Develop and implement financial controls for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA/macros)
- Proven expertise in financial reporting and reconciliation
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments
