Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and Illinois state regulations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Coordinate internal audits and implement process improvements
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for Illinois-based operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial strategy and tax planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in Illinois
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of Illinois tax laws and compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Proven experience in full-cycle accounting and financial reporting
