Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with meticulous attention to detail
- Conduct thorough reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and assist with tax preparation
- Lead financial modeling and forecasting initiatives to support business decision-making
- Maintain accurate financial records using advanced accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Expertise in financial software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven experience managing month-end/year-end closing processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
