Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable with 3-day payment processing guarantee
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse portfolio of clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls for SOX compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with real-time adjustments
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly reviews
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary training platform
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel with macros
- Demonstrated success with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.5% error rate)
- Experience with weekly payroll processing systems
