Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for diverse client portfolios
- Manage reconciliations for bank accounts, investments, and complex intercompany transactions
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Train junior accountants on financial systems and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-tier firms
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of California tax regulations and multi-state compliance
- Proven ability to manage high-volume accounts receivable/payable cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
