Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare detailed financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow) adhering to GAAP standards
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for client portfolios
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Coordinate with tax authorities to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
