Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, ensure accurate journal entries, and perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), QuickBooks, or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
