Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist with external audits and internal control implementations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely billing and collections.
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
