Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead audit coordination with external accounting firms
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Provide financial forecasting and budgeting support
- Advise clients on tax compliance optimization strategies
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Illinois tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with audit preparation
