Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for 15+ diverse clients
- Lead internal audits and ensure SOX compliance for portfolio companies
- Develop cash flow forecasting models and strategic financial recommendations
- Supervise 3 junior accountants and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with CFOs on M&A transactions and due diligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
- Strong understanding of GAAP and emerging accounting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
