Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to drive strategic planning
- Implement and optimize internal controls for financial systems and processes
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and ensure timely resolution of findings
- Develop financial models and ad-hoc reports for executive decision support
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
