Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes including reconciliations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
- Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Support external audits and tax preparation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
