Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements, budgets, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement automation solutions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and SEC regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and improve departmental workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail

- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audits
