Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns and regulatory compliance documents
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain GAAP compliance and optimize accounting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote or hybrid environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial controls
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills for virtual team collaboration
- Experience with SaaS or tech industry accounting preferred
