We're seeking a meticulous detail-oriented professional to manage complex financial operations for our diverse portfolio of clients. This fully remote position offers the perfect blend of autonomy and support, with monthly in-person team meetups in Louisville.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead reconciliation of complex balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry regulations
- Mentor junior accountants on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
