Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation
- Coordinate external audit processes and respond to auditor inquiries
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
