Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Oversee bank reconciliations, payroll processing coordination, and tax documentation preparation
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and advanced Excel modeling techniques
- Lead special projects including variance analysis and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in public accounting
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, month-end closing procedures, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables), and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends
- Proven experience managing accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with meticulous record-keeping and problem-solving abilities
