Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reports
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Prepare tax documentation and support compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP and tax regulations
