Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasting
- Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead special projects including process improvements and system implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated experience with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
