Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity portfolios
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits of subsidiary accounts and vendor contracts
- Maintain compliance with Florida state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and Florida tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing accounting teams of 3+ professionals
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
