Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to drive strategic planning
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Develop financial models for business growth opportunities
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail
