Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance protocols
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance reporting
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems like NetSuite or SAP
- Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure team productivity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP financial modules
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
