Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Streamline accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced functions)
- Strong knowledge of NY tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
