- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Support budget forecasting and strategic financial modeling
- Mentor junior accounting staff through process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and SOX compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing multi-location financial operations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
