Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for corporate and nonprofit clients
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Lead tax compliance and planning initiatives
- Implement and optimize internal controls systems
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide mentorship
- Conduct forensic accounting and fraud investigations
- Develop customized financial reporting solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Experience with nonprofit accounting standards
