Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Develop and implement financial controls to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
- Manage tax preparation processes and coordinate external audits
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities to present complex financial information clearly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
