Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting cycle including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis initiatives
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls
- Mentor junior accounting staff and improve team workflows
- Develop customized financial reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or CPA candidate required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing multi-state operations
- Proven ability to lead complex financial projects
