Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions with strict adherence to compliance standards
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and implement internal controls
- Prepare tax documents and ensure regulatory compliance for state and federal requirements
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support budgeting/forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
