Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and implement process improvements
- Lead internal and external audit coordination and documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support business growth initiatives
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Mentor junior accounting staff through technical training and workflow guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and internal controls
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with remote work tools and asynchronous communication
