Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage general ledger operations, ensuring accurate and timely posting of all transactions
- Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to stakeholders
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
