Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes
- Analyze financial data to prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely reconciliation
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial workflows
- Prepare executive financial statements and executive dashboards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong understanding of tax preparation and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing accounting teams and projects
