Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and implement efficiency improvements
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sector
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
