Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives while providing variance analysis to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable functions and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and strategic planning
- Manage tax preparation processes and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ in senior roles
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (VBA/macros)
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Experience in public accounting or mid-sized corporate environments
